The Art of Presentation
Speakers often focus solely on content and leave the quality of their presentations to chance. This workshop offers specific skills from the theater to become a more effective and authentic speaker, whether in a large auditorium, a small meeting room, or in one-on-one communication. Topics include connection to audience; body language, gesture and movement; purpose and passion; structure and timing; PowerPoint use; managing stage fright; voice, speech and articulation; and how to include stories and metaphors to illuminate complex or important ideas. The goal is to become more powerful and persuasive, getting your ideas to stick and your words to have an impact.

The Art of Presentation II: Telecommunication Challenges
Once a public speaker has become confident and persuasive in face-to-face interactions, performance techniques can be applied to a wide variety of communication media. More and more teleconferences, videoconferences, podcasts, an on-line learning modes are being used in conducting business. This workshop provides specific tips for media communication to insure that your message is conveyed in an effective and powerful manner while retaining a personal connection to your listeners.

The Storyteller’s Art: Techniques for Inspirational Speaking
Storytelling is an ancient form of conceptual communication and a powerful tool for the presenter. A well-chosen and well-told story can activate the imagination and passion of your audience members. This workshop will help you identify your best stories, clarify their purpose and structure, use gesture and voice to reveal characters, relationships and events, and bring sensory details to life. Your storytelling skills will open your authentic self to your audience, bring your content to life and make your presentations memorable.

Topics may include executive presence, communication skills, vocal power and clarity, or coaching for specific presentations (purpose, organization, use of language and/or PowerPoint, data presentation, and storytelling.)
